The Sopranos... what can you say!
Only a few days ago they got voted the 8th best TV family. I agree.
The two box sets of Series 1 are basically setting the stage for the Sopranos Family... Blood Ties - and Blood Oaths.

The DVD itself is good, but not amazing, hence only 4 stars. There's the 7 episodes spread across 3 DVD's (7 hours of Sopranos), and the extras.
The extras are:
Vol 4: "The Sopranos, Behind The Hit" Part 4 of 5.
Vol 5: "The Sopranos, Behind The Hit" Part 5 of 5.

Vol 6: "Woke Up This Morning" Music Video.
The documentary, that we have the final two parts of in Vols. 4 & 5, is great. Nice and long, nice and informative. You didn't have to see the previous 3 parts to get into it and overall a great hit. But that's it.
The music video... well, it's the title song, I've heard it 13 times already on the 13 episodes before it, but it's a good song, and the video is OK.

Overall:
The Sopranos is great, (Read an Amazon review on one of the single DVD's to find out what it's about if you don't know), the DVD is good, not amazing.
I'm glad I bought it and I'm sure you will be too.
