Product Description

Product Description

The B-17 bomber was the primary bomber used for long-range, daylight bombing in World War II. B-17 Flying Fortress lets you take control of any of the 10 individual positions of the plane, and puts you in command of an entire squadron of 12 bombers. B-17 delivers a full WWII flight-sim experience. As the bombardier, zoom in on targets 20,000 feet below to accurately destroy them. Swat down interceptors as a tailgunner. You can even escort the lumbering B-17s in a fighter plane, or join the Luftwaffe and try to keep the bombers from delivering their payloads.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fly me to the moon, 24 Oct 2001
By A Customer
all great games,,, here's a run down..

B17 Flying Fortress

Regarded as a strong contender for sim of the year, B17 is a simulation of the B17 Flying Fortress Bomber, in which each of the 10 crew members roles must be mastered.

Command the supreme daylight bomber of World War II, navigate accurately across Europe, locate and bomb strategic targets and defend the plane from furious enemy attacks.

Alternatively, players can take the role of escort fighter pilots or Luftwaffe interceptors. With superb graphics and near fanatical attention to detail, indulge in breathtaking air combat sequences through photorealistic terrain, high rendered interiors, rich sound environments and state-of-the-art atmospherics.

Select your nose art, pick your formations, review the reconnaissance photos, then watch each of your men or jump into their shoes!

Falcon 4

The new benchmark in flight sim technology

Falcon 4.0 is a Windows 95, multiplayer air combat simulation set in the Korean peninsula with a real-time war in progress in which you take the role of a single pilot in an F-16 jet fighter. Falcon 4.0's superb 3-D photorealistic, texture-mapped graphics and detailed models of F-16 avionics, weapons and threats will provide the most realistic combat flight simulation available. The ongoing simulation of a complex air/land/sea battle, will create all of the tension, chaos and adventure that exists in modern air combat, immersing you within the game like no other flight simulation has done before!

When realism is what you care about most, you'll live for Falcon 4.0's real-time, dynamic campaign. Choose from dozens of flight packages, each dynamically tailored to the changing situation. Falcon 4.0's detailed, accurate topology and stunning graphics break new ground in military flight simulations

European Air War

Take to the skies over Europe during the most dangerous days of World War II. Pilot 20 authentic fighter aircraft from Great Britain, Germany and the United States. Defend the skies of southern England from waves of German bombers, fight off harrying Messerschmitts while escorting B-17s deep into the heart of the Third Reich, or engage in savage dogfights over France. Unsurpassed graphics and a dynamic game world will captivate you in this sequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning 1942: Pacific Air War.

buy it now... its great!

1000 Words could not do Justice to these Sims so i`ll keep it short and sweet!

B17 II Flying Fortress
Wonderful Intro and Incredible detail Although not as good as the other 2 sims in this bundle will no doubt keep you going for some time to come.

Falcon 4
F4 was the Most realistic Sim when it was first issued, and thanks to on going work from some 3rd party programmers working with the original Source Code, F4 is still in production. The things that are going on now with F4 are almost Unbelievable. All i can say is F4 looks to have a great Future!

EAW
Well surely an old game like this is going to show its age? Wrong! EAW again is one of those titles that refuses to go away.Huge internet Support on this one is also available and new things are being added on a daily basis! If you like WWII Simulations then you will simply love this!

Conclusion
An awesome collection of older Sims, that simply refuse to go away! nor should They, all 3 sims still have great community`s and are highly Recommended to any hardened Flight Simmer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy this....but be prepared for some patch-finding, 28 Jul 2002
I bought this to get a copy of Falcon 4.0 (which is discontinued as a single product), and i haven't really been interested in the other sims. Falcon 4.0 is very buggy out of the box, with many a crash to be had and you really need 3 must-have patches that total about 28 Megabytes in all. I have a 56k modem so that was a headache, plus the patches are raelly difficult to download, half the mirror sites for download don't work and i ended up getting the patches from an obscure Finnish site! But now i have it working it's the best flight sim i've played to date; so in depth an accurate of the great plane...
