I still find it astonishing that albums and bands like this don't have better distribution. To get this you're going to have to either trust to fate and go for the 4 to 6 week option or else hunt to dusty corners of the web, eyes bleeding. Would it be worth it? Of course. It's profoundly German in sound, half motorik rhythms, half glitchy, twitchy beats; yet it has an other worldy ethereality lent to it by the breathy, almost Nico-esque timbre of the vocals. Valerie Trebeljahr speaks of monsters under the bed, yet her whispers manage to make something sinister sound part fairy tale, part lullaby.
I walked the streets with it recently and it affected what I saw as I walked, the way all great albums should. And the biggest endorsement I can give it is that whoever I seem to play it to, sits up and takes notice and by then end is asking for a copy.
