'Far-out'records excel again with this funky little jazz excursion. I'm a big fan of Azymuth and Joe Bertrami, so it came as no surprise when I played this CD for the first time that their rich melodic trademark style came floating out of my speakers and flooded my room with airy brightness.
Granted, this album is somewhat of an underdog and in my opinion it has not yet recieved the acclaim that it so modestly deserves.
'Two worlds' sits nicely somewhere between a non-vocal '4hero', 'Jazzanova' on an experiemntal tip and of course 'Azymuth'.
Solid rythmns and basslines/riffs that bring the crew firmly into the front of the nu-jazz stage, while retianing a degree of 70's finesse that seems to come as standard with 'far-out' records.
Sometimes trippy, but always funky, this a great album for when you're in the kiten making dinner in summer.

I got this solely on the strength of Azymuth's Ivan Conti, Jose Roberto Bertrami and Alex Malheiros appearing but I'm afraid that they can't rescue this lethargic outing. There is nothing in this that really gets you going and it is very formulaic. Save your money and look at something else.

This is one of the few farout recordings that I can't stomach as for the most part they do have a good reputation.
