The Sony DCR-PC120 is a DV format camcorder that enables, for the first time, wireless Internet access direct from your camcorder using a GSM or GPRS Bluetooth-enabled telephone or fixed telephone connection. For people who base their personal and work lives around Internet connectivity, the DCR-PC120 offers ultimate speed and ease of access to the Internet. To connect to the Web directly from your camcorder, all you need is a Bluetooth-enabled GSM/GPRS telephone or modem adaptor with Bluetooth function (BTA-NW1) for fixed telephone line use. Internet connectivity does not stop there. Using the DCR-PC120, you can surf the Web and read your e-mails. For off-line usage, web pages can be saved to the camcorder's Memory Stick and read later at your convenience. A super high quality 2.5-inch LCD monitor ensures that although the screen size is relatively small, the Web-based material is displayed in clear and sharp detail.

The highest picture resolution to date is achieved using a 1.5-megapixel CCD and 14-bit digital signal processing in order to provide 530 lines of horizontal resolution. A Carl Zeiss T* lens with 120x digital and 10x optical zoom provides stunning picture quality, while a new Hologram AF function uses safe laser technology to precisely measure distance--technology that significantly improves auto-focus in low light conditions. Add to this an automatic pop-up flash for still-image use with red-eye reducing technology built-in and you can be certain of top quality images in any conditions.

For comprehensive PC integration, the DCR-PC120 possesses three interconnection options:USB, i.LINK (DV IN/OUT) and Memory Stick. It comes supplied with an 8 MB Memory Stick, USB cable and driver software for Photo Suite and Video Wave. Using the camcorder's MPEG e-Movie feature, video clips up to 60 seconds in length can be stored on a Memory Stick and transferred to your PC in seconds for editing, archiving and sending to friends via e-mail.

absolutely amazing, i couldnt think of a better camcorder to get, the quality of the videoing is just phenomenal!using the USB terminal makes the transfer to your computer sooo much quicker!! i recorded my son skateboarding with this machine, i plugged it in to the computer and WOW the quality was just immense!! even when you zoom the quality does not change. The best thing about this is the acces to the internet where you can surf the net check your e-mails etc. Buy this amazing piece of kit, its pricy but what you can get out of it, you just forget about the price completely!!

this camera allows great videoing and is very easy to use. It allows recording of my old video camera footage onto it. the PC link was flawless allowing all footage to be converted easily to DVD.

The memory stick option is handy esp when you're running out of tape and vice versa.

The only non-used option (by myself) is the bluetooth facility.

Now that the price is coming down, its an even better buy.
