2.0 out of 5 stars Very poorly produced historical document, 13 April 2007
By Hill Walker "Pennine Dweller" (The Pennines of course!) - See all my reviews
The sound is quite awful: the stereo picture is totally unbalanced i.e. voice-over all to one side, no original match commentary and dubbed crowd noise which always robs a football spectacle of any atmosphere. Some of the sound is actually on a loop: at one point towards the end, a woman's scream can be clearly heard being repeated numerous times.

Admittedly there is much unfamiliar footage (which makes up the bulk of the DVD's content) but this is at best of only passing interest as a great deal of it appears to have been culled from non FIFA sources hence its poor quality i.e. it's probably why FIFA never bothered to put its name to such footage. Consequently many of the highlights can be rather tedious and there are too few of these teams' legendary moments.

One glaring mispronunciation: it should be CLODOALDO.

If you really want to see a compilation of Brasil's jogo lindo, there are other places to enjoy their wonderfully exquisite football.

Two stars simply because it's interesting but nothing more.
