5.0 out of 5 stars Definite Keeper, 18 Jul 2002
John Williams certainly kept to his standard of greatness here. While it was a bit disappointing to find that the Diagon Alley tracks were different, the rest of the CD didn't leave anything wanting. William's use of the celeste added further to the magic and mystery of Harry Potter and the French horns (used in the main themes and the Hogwarts theme) gave it a regal effect. One could hear what was happening in the movie almost at all times: the letters flying around and the staircase moving. Overall, it is a captivating listen!

5.0 out of 5 stars John Williams is awesome!, 20 Nov 2001

John Williams is an amazing composer. I was really excited to hear that he created the music for the Harry Potter Film. The music is perfect for the feel and tone of the movie (and books!) Hedwig's Theme, the last track, is my favorite. The Quidditch Match (almost 8 and-a-half minutes long!) is awesome, too. Fans of Harry Potter should definitely buy this CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars must have, 24 Feb 2002
This is a stunning CD, I love it!
My favorite is 'the face of voldermort' because the toy box sound effect give you a glimse of adventure from the film that goes buzzing around in your head!
