5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Kiwi Tunes, 14 May 2004
By A Customer
After visiting New Zealand for a month, this album soon started cropping up in conversations I was having all over the North and South Islands. Brilliant ragga/drum and bass/chill out tunes...the closest thing we have to compare it to is Massive Attack or Allstars but they don't even compare to the brilliance of this band! Every tune is a winner!

4.0 out of 5 stars Deepest, Darkest Dub and Beats from New Zealand, 5 Jun 2003
It just doesn't sound right, does it? A quality dub band from God's Own Country? But then one of the funkiest acts ever were white and Scottish, so put away any prejudices and be prepared for the dub ride of your life. I first heard of SD in Australia and spent a whole, warm Winter touring Down Under with Inside The Dub Plates as the soundtrack of our lives. It's moody and haunting, it's beats filled and ragga mad, it's grooved and chilled. It's the next great discovery you'll make. Having only lived with it for a year, I cannot give five stars yet, but this might just turn out to be one of the greatest albums I've ever bought. I HAVE to see them live. When are they playing a festival? Now that would be something. Pass the Rizla...

5.0 out of 5 stars Salmonella Dub - Inside the Dub plates, 21 Feb 2006
I think most people in the UK have heard of these guys either from bieng into the genre but I and like most people I know were lucky enough to travel and socialise with the sourthern hemisphere gang and be inducted that way. The first track I heard was "Love your ways" and it stopped me in my tracks, dead.

The album is well put together and if funk is your thang then it's a must. Twists and turns with samples, awesome guitar riffs and electronic undertones to create a truly remarkable piece of work. Dirty Vegas meets Massiva attack meets Ska. Well worth checking out.
