I had already rated "Flow" as album of 2001, and this collection of remixes only goes to support my belief. From the insane lounge/rock of "Victim or Victor to the Vulcan-like vocals on "Suspect" and the Aphex-ism of "Heuldoch 7B", this album goes further into sonic mutilation than ever before whilst actually remaining listenable to those who normally steer away from this kind of thing. Consider Charlie Clouser's "Quick Fix" (vocoder aside. Why do people insist on using these things for the purpose they were designed?!!) and you realise how easily JG Thirlwell could jump on the commercial bandwagon. I think everyone should respect him for the fact he doesn't! As with any remix album, it's difficult to tell if it could stand up on it's own, but as a complement to "Flow", the only word is "fantastic".
