I bought this album after hearing a few things about Alkan. I mainly just wanted to see if anyone could actually play his music and do it well. Ringeissen's playing is formidable and he plays through the �tudes not only technically well but also with feeling and really brings the music to life. Definitely worth spending �5 on!
