Luna discovered Piano Magic's previous work, which consists of haunting soundscapes, and realised it was perfect for movie scores. Piano Magic featurethree core members, but have included some 30 musicians throughout their career.

I first heard this [track 5]on Radio Three at midnight, after a hard days work, I sat mesmerised in my car on the drive so relaxed I was unable to get out until I had all the details, album name artist etc[all new to me]. unfortunately I then had to wait for its release.
In the meantime I purchased 'Artist's Rifles', whilst good, 'Son de Mar' is better by far, less weird, and easier to share with colleagues [If you play music at work you will know what I mean]
I think this is an excellent album , it can be enjoyed anywhere at anytime, but 2:00 am with a fine wine a favourite cheese and good company is recommended.
More please.

Although constructed with a very special care, Son De Mar, gives not the idea of what Piano Magic really can do. No mather what, if you turn the stereo on, and get the eyes closed, you easealy get the impresion of seaside location. It's important not to forget that this is a soundtrack. Sometimes, obligations that images impose to music turns this last one in an acessorie of the first one. Anyhow, i was lucky to see them at this year festival in Benicąssim. I can asure you that they're good.

You feel like if you are listening to symphonic rock of the 70's, but in 21th century. And sounding like 2001 music made. They're fantastic. During the performance, there was a time that i closed my eyes and i had the feeling of being listening to Rick Wakeman. But remarcably refreshened up. Superb.
