Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder delivers racing and freestyle boarding that lets you ride as six-time Winter X Games gold medallist, Shaun Palmer. Or, you can choose from a powerful posse of nine of the biggest pros in the sport.

You'll board at real-life locations around the world, including courses at Aspen, Colorado and Nagano, Japan. Pull hundreds of trick combos and stick tricks off of anything in sight. Tricks include grinds, grabs, plants, flips, and signature moves like the Palm Air. Interactive controls let you link trick combos to score points and unlock new levels, boards, all-important sponsors, and more. Along the way, you can explore hidden areas.

Gameplay includes single and multiplayer modes. For single play, you can take a freeride, do freestyle, or compete in Palmer X-racing. Multiplay modes feature freestyle, one-on-one and racing split screens. In race or freestyle modes you execute linked trick combos to maintain momentum and unlock secret areas.

I think that Shaun Palmer's is great fun and a must buy. It comes from the makers of Tony Hawk, so it was sure to be a hit. This game is so playable, when you start you can not stop. This incredibly realistic game did not appeal to me until I started unlocking things, and that is when you can not stop playing it. There is a great create a boarder feature on it, so you make up people to ride with. There is huge depth to this game, which only can be discovered when you complete it. If you want a game that you can not stop playing, get this game.

This game is great. From the creators of the Tony Hawk series, this game is bound to be a hit. It combines killer gameplay with stunning, jaw dropping graphics. Obviously, no pain has been spared, no stone left unturned with this game. Many people think it's just another snowboarding game, but it is truly different, not just simple coures but 10 FULL courses each needing their own different kind of skill. Play as Palmer or one of 9 other pro's. With much the same controls as Tony Hawk, you can expect many different trick combo's and big air's. Unlock secret tracks and boards as the game progresses and develop your skills to beat the computer or some of your friends in one of the the awesome 2 player modes. If you want playability, get this game.

When i played this game i could not have been more disapointed. When i heard it was from the makers of tony hawks, i thought great. I played the demo of the game that was on the tony hawks disc. God was it poor,the gameplay seems slow and sluggish, and there seems to be a faint blur over everything. There is no real attention to detail on the boarders. If you ask me you should get....Tony Hawks 3,ESPN X snowboarding,SSX and SSX tricky.

Graphics:5 (definatly not all that, no attetion to detail, blurey, faint fog over everything)
Sound: 8 (exellent sound, cutting through snow has never sound so cool, sound FX like grinding put it down though)
Gameplay: 6 (becasue it is based on tony hawks gameplay it is simple and easy to get the hang of, but seems unresponsive most of the time and slow)
Life Span:4 (however long it take deja'vu to set in)
