Synopsis

More fun for children with the famous Rainbow brand.

From the back cover

Up above the streets and houses, Rainbow climbing high...

The Rainbow House is always an exciting place to be. Join the original Rainbow gang for seven hilarious adventures in this fantastic new video:

Zipman and Bobbin:
In the world of Batmobiles, Geoffrey the Joker and his friend Sourface Bungle are about to be challenged by Zipman Zippy and his friend Boy Bobbin George.

Zippy's in Love:
When Zippy falls in love with a television presenter, he sends a poem he has written himself. He wishes she would come and see him--and he's in for a surprise.

Hot Day:
It's such a hot day that Geoffrey gets out the paddling pool so everyone can keep cool. But when Bungle begins to fill it with water from the garden hose, Geoffrey gets quite a surprise.

Zippy Sets Them Up!:
Why is Zippy being unusually helpful? Is he changing for the better? Geoffrey is suspicious.

Bungle's High and Mighty Day:
When Bungle receives an invitation to Sooty's birthday party, he thinks he is very important. Zippy and George get very cross with him.

Zippy Wants to be a Comedian:
Ernie Wise pops into the Rainbow House to give Zippy a helping hand in achieving his ambition of becoming a comedian.

George's Secret Wish:
George makes a secret wish. Zippy thinks he is wishing for a little Thumbelina, Bungle thinks he is wishing for a flower, so they're both very surprised when George's wish comes true.

If anyone remembers watching Rainbow, then you MUST buy this DVD! Includes the classic episode where Zippy falls in love with a television presenter, and writes her a poem... "Debbie Debbie Debbie, I'm in love with you already". One last thing, -BUY IT!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bungle Bonce, 10 Mar 2009

Love it or loathe it Rainbow is a national institution and an iconic piece of British TV history. The deranged zip-mouthed creature (Zippy), the dippy and gullible hippo (George), the insanely camp bear (Bungle) and their human `friend' Geoffrey all return for another collection of episodes - this time all centring on the motor-mouthed puppet. With highly camp song and dance trio Rod, Jane and Freddy in attendance, plus a sprinkling of guests and those memorable animated interludes, this will provide hours of nostalic fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zippy at his finest, 5 Oct 2001
This is the best way to keep small kids and big kids amused, especially Geoffery showing his acting talents as the joker in zipman and bobbin.
