1.0 out of 5 stars The Orb sell-out on their remix career, 13 Sep 2001
By A Customer
A collection of second-rate remixes that didn't make it onto the first mediocre remix album. Where as fans might argue that this is what the Orb do best, recent Orb material has been of such an inferior quality that releasing remix material is the only way forward. Don't get me wrong, there's some good tunes on here (KLF's 3 am Eternal remix for one) but the majority are knob-twiddling anecdotes of real Orb music. My recommendation would be to avoid this stuff like the plague - it's a poor half-way house between what the Orb can do well and what they can do poorly.

2.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment!!!, 24 Sep 2001
By A Customer
Well I had my hopes severly dented when I got hold of this. The real gems are padded by mediocre and downright second-rate remixes - is it any wonder we've never heard of them before - strictly bargain basement 12"s I'm afraid. I'd like to say the few classics (Primal Scream and Sun Electric) make the album worth while but I found myself reaching for the next track button farto often. Not the best that The Orb can do but for fans and completists a must to fill that hole in their collections.
