Retro has never been so "now"! Each of the tracks on this little beauty of an album has been tried and tested on the dancefloors of London's Club Montepulciano, where the elegantly-dressed in-crowd dance their glittery socks off to the sounds of the Jet Set. These tracks have been carefully chosen for all your retro-summer musical needs, whether that means grooving in the Hawaiian twilight ("Aloha" by the Easy Alohas) or chilling on a far-flung veranda behind your Gucci shades (Thievery Corporation's "Air Batacuda"). You can fly yourself away to the tropics with Nicola Conte's "Jet Sounds" or take Bongo lessons from Lemon's "Mr Bongo". You could even flirt yourself into a dark handsome stranger's arms with this album - "Latin Lover" and "Ola Chica" should do the trick! Finally, get yourself jumping to the hypnotic disco splendour of "Knuf!" at the end of the album, then buy yourself a Mai Tai to congratulate yourself on having such utterly sensational taste!
