When I got flight sim 2004 I was unhappy with the amount of traffic on it so I bought Ultimate Traffic and there was a huge difference! 400,000 flights to all over the globe, what more could you want. Slight cons though are that at small airfields there aren't many accurate airlines or planes but one of the best features of the game is you can download even more flights and airlines and update liveries etc. Best used at large airports like London Heathrow or New york JFK where there is loads of stuff going on. Planes listen to ATC and respond. Its unbelievable! a must have!

This is the first traffic program I bought (2 months ago) and after all the positive reviews and hype, I was NOT impressed. I had some technical issues with the product during the online updates which their technical support people ignored for 3 whole days and when they did acknowledge me, I seemed to know more about the product than they did! The claims about the arrivals/departures board are false as it isn't accurate at all - something they actually admitted to me.

Suffice it to say I got a refund from them and went out and bought Traffic 2004 and, although £10 less, it was a much better product and I am still using it to this day.

The previous reviewer may have been happy with his home airport, but mine didn't have 2 airlines that serve the area and are very well known, at least in Britain. Traffic 2004 had BOTH of them, with realistic flightplans and excellent models.

Oh, and you can expand online, but certainly not ALL airlines by any means - I know, I've been to the site and seen them.

My advice? Get Traffic 2004 and save that extra tenner...

This is simply a must-have - 1000s of airliners which conform to real-life schedules. Check your local airport at 9am Monday morning and watch the sim counterparts taxi and take-off.

And it's expandable (though there is a bit of work involved) allowing you to import any missing airlines (you know the really obscure ones) along with their aircraft and repaints.

There's no military traffic and limited general aviation but if you like flying airliners you can't go wrong with this.
