Amazon.co.uk Review
Let's cut to the chase.
Stable Masters is not the
Championship Manager 00/01 of horse racing, no matter how hard it tries to be. But it is still a diverting strategy game, which, though it lacks polish and possibly long-term appeal, still provides a decent run for fans of the sports management genre.
As you'd expect, you breed, buy, train and race your horses, attempting to build up a stable of money winners by carefully matching the right horse to the right race, and--what the heck--having a flutter on the side too. Fairly easy to get to grips with, not easy to win, Stable Masters is a reasonable day out at the races, but not much more than that. --Simon Brew
