I have just bought the 64MB MMC card to use in my new Kodak digital camera. It has increased the number of highest quality photos I can save on it from 17 (which was a bit disappointing) to well over 70, and all for less than �25.
A 64MB card in other high-street stores would have cost me well over twice that amount.

... What a great price.. MMC/SD cards are the same size and format, except the SD cards can be write protected. But for everyday use, the MMC cards do the same job. My digi cam accepts both media, but I find SD cards to be expensive. With a 64MB card, I can now store 64 pictures in high quality, or 130 pics at normal quality. With regards to MP3 files, you can store approx 21 tracks assuming a track is approximately 3 minutes long recorded at 128kbs. As for PDA/Mobile phone applications (Orange SPV) you will have problems filling up 64MB worth of applications, contacts, back-up, etc.. So you have the pleasure of filling it up with videos, pictures, and MP3.
Most new portable electronic goods are using small storage media, like SD/MMC, so it is a bonus that the price is more reasonable now....

What a brillant purchase! I have a Siemens SL45 MP3 phone, Palm 505 and a JVC 357 and this has made so much difference to my storage power! I'm now buying some more! The Siemens now can hold well over an hour of CD quality music, and the JVC can take literally thousands of photo's. The best thing is I can swap all the cards round! Pop the card into the Palm with photo's on and no messing around the Palm reads them in colour straight away! Anyone who has 32MB or less should really buy one and at just over �100 it's a bargain. I've seen high street stores charge �85 for only 32MB! I'm never going back - if only they did 128MB ones! As Oscar Wilde said "Memory is the diary that we all carry about with us."
