5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!!, 4 Sep 2001
This game is very good indeed. Some people will argue and say "but you can't even tag" but you don't exactly have the brilliant ability to transform into beasts in other games do you!. I think every Bloody Roar fan like myself will agree though that even this game has some flaws. Firstly, the loading times can get a bit annoying but thats not a huge problem. The main flaw with this game I found and I must admit I was dissapoited with is that you can't unlock anything!. The charachters are great but you can't get any more. None the less this is a very good game and if you are a fan of beat em ups I certainly recommend this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wicked game!, 20 Feb 2002
By A Customer
The game rules! You can still turn into beasts and do Super-moves,but now you can turn into a hyper-beast and do loads of beast drives (rage moves).
The 3D graphics are amazing, and the arenas have cool special features. In the sewer, for instance, you can break barriers to get a longer arena. The throws are cool too, and some are WWF moves.Alice has huracarana and Shina has a suplex-DDT move(my brother says it's fisherman DDT)while Long and Shenlong blast energy Mortal-Kombat style. And you can unlock stuff. The characters have changed too:Long wears glasses, Bakuryu's older,Stun looks like a Genestealer (from Warhammer 40,000) and Shenlong looks like a teenage punk.My only complaint is that Yugo's voice has been changed to sound like an idiot's,although he's exactly the same as he used to be, but hey, with a game this good, who cares?

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing, 20 Sep 2001
This is a dissapointing first outing for Bloody Roar on the PS2, the games controls are tough to get used to if you have played other fighting games on this console such as Tekken Tag. It does look great during the game, but the actual gameplay lacks in replay-ability and two player is not that great either. All in all I would say stick with DOA2 or Tekken for now.
