Product Description

Product Description

In Hidden Invasion a spearhead alien invasion fleet is expanding its occupancy of Earth with the help of traitorous government officials. Assuming the role of a hard-bitten special-forces agent, the player embarks on a death-or-glory mission to blow the lid off the conspiracy and thwart the alien takeover. Through fighting, exploration and puzzle elements, the game weaves a mixture of incredible graphics and engaging gameplay to provide dazzling action set within a lavishly illustrated 3-D environment. Motion-captured characters move realistically through intricately designed sets, while a series of animated cut-scenes continually develop the plot. The levels are also totally interactive, so players can utilise the scenery as an additional weapon, collapsing ledges onto advancing foes while taking short cuts to evade pursuit and double back to catch your enemies unaware.

Manufacturer's Description

Hidden Invasion is an action-packed beat-'em-up-game, in which you, a Special Forces leader, will encounter a strange, sinister threat. In this encounter Hidden Invasion will acquaint you with a feeling you thought you had overcome a long time ago: fear, pure and cold. In the unfolding action, you'll get the opportunity to really get to know yourself, your strengths and limitations, to kick some major alien butt, and, by finding out what's really going on, to save the world... Take the opportunity--it's the only one you'll have! It's up to you to uncover a gigantic conspiracy, unseen before on our planet. Try to keep a cool head when hordes of aggressive aliens are after you--after all there's more at stake than just your life. Hidden Invasion merges astounding visual aesthetics with a cinematic storyline, thus generating a terrific dramaturgy and excitement levels only known from the movies--with you as the protagonist on and in front of the screen.

5.0 out of 5 stars One word: Really Good, 4 Oct 2004
This game rules! I had the fortune to play this game while on holidays in Latvia. It has big guns, big missions and bestest of all amazing grafix that can only be seen on the PS2.
I can't rate this game any more highlyer, I bought copies for my grandchildren and my pet sheep, "Hewy", and she said it was even better than GTA City Vice!!!!
Hidden Invasion has got to be in the top three best games ever created, after football and bowls.

Get it, it won't dissanoint!!

2.0 out of 5 stars best of best? rest of whats left more like.., 14 Dec 2001
By A Customer
Hardly the greatest creation to grace the gaming prowess that is the PS2, admittedly I have only played a demo, which obviously does not reflect what the full game will be like. H.I. does nothing that hasn't been done before, most of the time its simply repetitive and dull. Don't get me wrong, I love all games and have done since an early age. I respect every one, even the blatent clones of briliant and original games. Hidden Invasion, however, is neither original nor brilliant. This was one invasion that should have stayed well hidden.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bizzare!!, 9 Jul 2004
By Richard Fox - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Thsi agme is so wierd, poorly programed and bizzaely scripted I imediatly took the game back.
There is a very unrealistic story line: What happens is that you play as this future police man and you are about to go on holiday and for some reason never explaned you are called off to fight these alians.
On the first level all these terorists come along and you just have to kill them. Dispite the fact that there is an entire swat team right behind you who just stand there and watch you die. You have a very strange time limit as well with every level. If you don't complete the level within the time limit you die!! This is vert concerning as the only explanation is that your pace maker runs out or something. The graphics are primitive and you can only save your game twice in the entire game!
Don't buy this game it is very lazely created and poorly programed.
