Eurofighter Typhoon..., 25 Jun 2001
By A Customer
I woke up one morning and siad ot myself, Iwant to buy a flying game. My shelf is full of them, but I am always hungry for more...I had no idea what I should get, so I went to an online shop, and browesed around. Out of 5 good games I found, EuroT won it. So I went down the shop and bought it. Spent the day in Sothend with my parents, and on the way home I read the manual. It did boast about it's dynamic campaign a bit too much tho :) I got home, installed it, and afer about 2hrs of sorting out graphics problems, I got it going. I chose my 6 pilots (knowing they were all I was going to get). I decided on 2 air-air, 2 strike and 2 wild-weasel (supression of enemy air defence) pilots, and off I flew. That was all 2 months ago, and now I'm quite good. I love the agility of the plane, and it's quite nippy as well. Damage wise, it could look better when your hit. I been hit my missiles god knows how many times, and the damage is always looking the same. It all starts off with 2 training missions to get you going, then in come the Russians! Initially, you only meet light waves, maybe a few recon trawlers, a sub, some cruise missiles. But then, the EBC news tells you of an incoming invasion! You must destroy as many Russian landing vessals as possible, so later on when you are trying it beat them off the island, you get an easier time. Overall, it is a great game, not being too heavy on the realism, but not fake either. Just how I like them. Well done Rage!
