I had spent quite alot of time searching on Amazon to find a budget fighter sim. After reading the helpful reviews I discovered F22 Lightning.

For the budget price you can't go wrong. Ok, the graphics are nothing spectacular (after all, its a few years old don't forget) but at the same time the playability is great. One of the things I like the most about this game is that it didn't take long at all to pick it up. After just a couple of missions I had mastered the controls, and could even land the plane! To be honest its the only fighter sim where I have been able to land a plane!

There is plenty of features and there are loads of missions to go at. Normally I would have given it 4 stars but for the price I thought it deserved 5.

Quite an enjoyable game to begin with - relatively good graphics especially with a 3D accelerator card. The game supports a force feedback joystick making the gaming experience even more real. However, whilst the explosions are impressive, the missions are relatively similar and can get a bit repetitive.

The game also supports a multiplayer function which is particularly enjoyable because you can play with people over the internet, create your own squadron and fly your own missions.

I would recommend this game, its good value, good fun and quite realistic - its also very easy to pick up and just play - enjoy!!!

f22 lighting is a great game, it has exalent graphics, great game play, and a great weapon selection. when flying you have autopiot option which are very handy, you also have a wingman in the campain missions, going onto the graphics they are good but they lack a tiny bit on the plane but still is great, if i was to reconmend it i would because the missions get more challaging as you go and it also includes a MAP EDITOR, SO YOU CAN ALSO GET AIRCRAFT CARRIERS WHICH ARE GREAT FUN.

This is a classic flight sim, the best in the lightning series by a mile. Go into supersonic speeds with this fast up to date sim unmatched anywhere that ive seen!
