If you like the authentic feel of Middle Eastern music, forget it. The CD promises an artistic fusion of Latin American and Middle Eastern Music, but the emphasis is more on Latin American than Middle Eastern.Yes, you can belly dance with it. But ifyou can belly dance, you can belly dance with anything.Just turn the radio on, and go for it, whether it's Tina Turner,Elvis Presley or the Spice Girls. Ok, so here are Latin American songs. So what? The Middle Eastern component of this music is thin. You may be able to use it for bellygrams for purely western audiences if you think they may not be able to bear anything genuinely Middle Eastern, but even then there are better choices. The songs are well known, and I think teh best idea is to use this CD for your next haflah, to get the non-belly-dancers up to dance.
