4.0 out of 5 stars Buy this tape...Now! No really NOW., 13 Jan 2002
Once again ECW proves it can put on a great show. Basically all u need to know is RVD vs Rhino is great, finally someone shut Bill Alfonso up with that damn whistle (he nearly has his teeth knocked out). Also CW Anderson and Steve Corino have a lengthy battle. Usually in any other wrestling match of this length I skip 15 mins. This was brilliant match and u won't wanna skip a second. Joel Gerner and Cyrus have comical battle with gertner have kamala's "moons" painted on his chest and going for his own variation of the peoples elbow.Kid Kash vs EZ money is sheer brilliance! The baldies match is too extreme with balls gettin a staple in the eye!
The only thing you will find wrong with this tape is there's an annoying little man in a red t-shirt who is so into the wrestlers he distracts you from the show (look for him top left front row he is ANNOYING!!!)

4.0 out of 5 stars quality throughout, 22 Jun 2004
Perhaps just looking through the matches on this video, there isn't much that stands out to anyone unfamiliar with the ECW wrestlers. But I can assure you that every one of these guys put in a brilliant performance. With Kid Cash vs EZ Money, and Steve Corino vs CW Anderson deserving a special mention.

The only problem was that such high standards were set in the early matches that it became very difficult for the 2 main event matches (Rhino vs RVD, and Justin Credible vs Jerry Lynn) to top them. Don't get me wrong they are both good matches, but only equal rather than surpass what had gone before. But perhaps it is an unfair criticism, as the under card matches were exceptional rather than the main events being poor.

The weapons and dangerous stunts are present, but not as often as in other ECW videos. This event relies more on fast paced, quality wrestling to entertain rather than a countless chair shots and table breaks.

There probably isnt anything on this video that you haven't seen before, but it is still a very good event with entertaining matches throughout.

If you are just after hardcore action with flaming tables, balcony jumping and barbwire, look at the other ECW videos. If you want top quality wrestling this is well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars HARDCORE + HIGH FLIGHIN', 15 Jun 2001
I thought this video was great.

1st it starts of with a really good, fast paced match between Danny Doring and Roadkill Vs Christian York and Joey Matthews.

2nd match was one of the best on the tape. It was Kid Kash Vs E.Z.Money. The if Kid Kash won Joel Gertner would fight Cyrus the virus.

3rd match was real harcore. It was The Baldies Vs Balls and Chilly Willy.

4th match was a number 1 contender match between C.WAnderson and Steve Corino. I thought this match wasent so good.

5th match was a tag team title match between the FBI and Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mikey Wipwreck. This was a great match and some of the kicks to the face really knocked little guidos lights out.

6th match was for the ECW WORLD TELEVISION TITLE. It was the rookie monster Rhino Vs Mr P.P.V. Rob Van Dam. this match was the best on the tape and RVD is trying to win back the ECW television title from Rhino.

The main event was for the ECW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP between Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn. This was an amazing match and it had a lot of finishing moves in it until it was over. E-C-DUB do it again!!
