eJay MP3 Station 2.0 is an all-in-one music managing package which allows you to rip, load, burn, juggle and copy any number of MP3 tracks between your PC and your CD player.
As with all eJay products the format is admirably simple. A "base module", visible no matter what you're doing, contains the most important tools and features--click on a module button to store and catalogue your pre-existing MP3 tracks, burn them on to a blank CD or "grab" them from another audio CD. You can even write and design your own blank CD cover. Click on other buttons to access the eJay dance-music Net radiochannel, or to scope out the eJay Homepage, where you can mull over yet more MP3 tracks for possible purchase or exchange. And an especially psychedelic feature allows you to "produce" your own wobbly special effects computerised film to accompany your homemade techno, which you then watch on the module screen. --Sean Thomas

eJay MP3 Station is essentially an MP3 encoder/player, but is extremely intuitive to use. Like all eJay software, it operates on a simple one-button rule meaning that most processes you would like to perform can be done with one click of the mouse. It uses the latest FastMP3 engine that makes it possible to encode MP3s up to the rate of 320Kbit/s. These can be stored on your hard drive as play lists, or burnt onto a CD using the integrated utility.
Conversion tools are also included, enabling you to convert your music selection to MP3 or WAV format with ease. Of course, there is also complete compatibility with all eJay products, particularly the eJay Freeplayer. It also includes MP3 Exchange, which automatically upgrades Dance eJay 2, and Dance eJay 2: Techno Edition with the MP3 Export facility.
