Synopsis
After nine seasons as super sleuth Perry Mason, Raymond Burr embarked on yet another television crime drama with the series Ironside, which ran from 1967-1975. Burr starred as Robert T. Ironside, the head of a special crime unit with the San Francisco Police Department. Chief Ironside was a unique crimefighter in that he was confined to a wheelchair after being shot by a sniper's bullet. The series was the first to feature a character with a disability and also tackled many of the social issues of its day. This collection features three episodes from the long-running series: The Taker, The Past is Prologue, and To Kill a Cop.
