This is a superbly realised idea - to arrange Frank Bridge's absolutely beautiful piano quintet at a 'chamber concerto'. I love the work in its original form - sadly only one recording available of it - and this new version is ravishing! Wonderful silky, emotional playing from the Moscow strings and Carol Rosenberger is surely a Frank Bridge connoisseur - sounds just right. How exciting to hear our own Frank Bridge championed by Russian players. Congratulations to Constantine Obelian! If you like Romantic music you should love this disc - buy it.
