Many of Photoshop's renowned image editing, composition and enhancement tools are present in the limited edition. Each of the possible 99 layers on your digital canvas can be manipulated individually, and the colour balance or contrast of an image can be altered with subtle precision. Sophisticated masking and selection tools allow you to fix trouble spots without adversely affecting the rest of the picture; painting, drawing and retouching tools can be customised in moments. Photoshop LE also offers more than 90 plug-ins that quickly let you apply dramatic lighting or artistic effects.
Although Photoshop LE's sophisticated heritage means that the learning curve can be substantial, the clear manual provides a solid foundation for novice users.
