4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as his latest album, but still not bad at all..., 6 Jun 2002
By A Customer
"Olürüm Sana" (I would die for you) is Tarkan's 3rd major album. Most of the tunes are typical pop tunes you hear everywhere, and as such are a bit cheesy, though there are some slower tracks too. The first track, "Simarik", has been used by Holly Valance as "Kiss Kiss", though Tarkan's rendition of it is better sung (though less sexy, obviously). You don't have to speak Turkish to enjoy this CD---I find myself occasionally humming the songs even though I have no idea what they mean. I would recommend this CD (but especially Tarkan's latest album, "Karma") to anyone who is fed up of the usual brit pop and wants something a bit different.

5.0 out of 5 stars The next Elvis!!!!, 20 Mar 2007
This Album will show that Tarkan is must NOT be compared to the likes of Ricky Martin, or George Michael because I am trying to figure out why?
He covered more music genres than those two Artists and creates his own unique song writing and Music material without sampling anyone elses.
Americans failed to discover that not only he covered Pop, but also Rock, Metal, Country, RnB, Asian, Latin, Dance, including Hip hop in his early career. Another disparity between him and other 'comparisions' is that dispite the sexual exploitations, scandalising puritan or prudish attitudes to some groups of people, and freedom of expression in his music, and in the public eye - the older generation still feverishly love him, his music, his youthful craze and style. In my opinion, this is one of his albums to prove Tarkan is the prognostication of being the next Elvis, and I am not alone in making the same statement. Like Elvis who both went to serve the Army, doing most genres of music, both appeal to Men and Women, no matter if they are young or old. He is like a hedonistic drug that you can't get enough of! And he can play the Gitar like the King of the 21st Century
