The Muppets where, and still are, a masterpiece of comedy and visual timing. The humour was always self depreciating, knowing and often down right bizaar. But despite being a childrens program the puppetering and script writing of Jim Henson, Frank Oz and co. was knowingly sophisticated but never malicious. Although guest stars featured in every program they are missing from these volumes, which is a shame, as it was the upstaging by the Muppets that was the funniest thing to watch. Still all your favorites are present and correct, with such classics as Pigs In Space,(Remeber Link Hogthrob?) and the unforgetable Ma-na-Ma-na and the Snooks. These videos are a must for anyone who grew up with all the mayhem, its astonishing what you remember when it gets going. So it's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights....just one more time.

This is classic comedy. There are only a few things in existence which can rival this stuff for indiviuality and inspiration. Consistently hilarious and constantly surprising. Age has not withered it one bit.
