5.0 out of 5 stars Exquisite music from the master of modern film soundtracks, 16 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Whilst the cinematographers continue to delight the eyes of the audience, film after film James Horner continues to delight the ear of that same audience. This, one of his latest contributions joins the long list of masterpieces James Horner has provided modern society with. Each of his compositions tells the story even without the visual aspect of the film. As you sit and listen you are transported back to the ruins of Stalingrad and feel the tension mount as the story unfolds in the music. Exquisite work!

3.0 out of 5 stars Enemy at the Gates = Apollo11 = Titanic, 26 April 2003
By A Customer
Despite this being another very good piece of work by James Horner, I can't halp but notice that it is exactly the same as his other works. I am familiar with several films that James Horner has been involved in, eg Apollo 13, Titanic, Braveheart. Most of the music in Enemy at the Gates is almost exactly the same as the music in these other films.

Despite that however, this is a good cd if you like Horner or have never heard his work before.
