3.0 out of 5 stars Good tape but not Tai Chi, 13 Jan 2002
By Lejla Somun-Krupalija "bookrunner" (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is a really good tape, it gives key points, warm-up and exercises (which all make up for half an hours worthwile exercise). Then it is followed by meditation - which is good for 5-10 minutes in evening or stress-time, as well as chair meditation which is excellent if you are sitting in the office 8 hrs a day.
However, this is not Tai Chi, it has similar movements and exercises that will surely help do the proper Tai Chi routine, but this should be spelled out clearly in the description.

3.0 out of 5 stars A good introduction to give the basics, 19 Nov 2001
By A Customer
I enjoyed this video. It is mainly to give a taste of what Tai Chi is like. If you want something more comprehensive or advanced then this is not for you. The video is essentially split into two main sections - the Tai Chi stretches and meditation. Having done meditation before, I was impressed by this section. The Tai Chi itself could have been more expansive, but it does give a good overview to get you started.

2.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable stretcjhes, but not Tai Chi, 6 Nov 2001
By A Customer
I was looking forward to more Tai Chi exercises, but this is definitely only a stretch based video. Very good stretching, to be sure, but the segment at the end on meditation was almost too hokey for words. It was also a very short video, timewise. Enjoyable but fluff.
