This is the first LP I have I have bought since the 1980's. After recently bringing my old LP collection from the loft I was inspired to try replacing a few of my favourite albums. Checking in the market place and other online second-hand web sites I found that most of the early Sabbath albums are very expensive. So seeing a new pressing I purchased this record. The first thing I noticed was the pre-echo; this is where the manufacturer unintentionally transferred some of the subsequent groove wall's impulse signal into the previous groove wall. It's one of the worst pre-echo's I have heard. Once the music gets going you can't hear the pre-echo, but still, it annoys me at the start of every song. I give the music 5 stars the manufacturing 3 stars.

This was the second album that Brummie rockers Black Sabbath released in 1970 and their best. Classics like Paranoid, War Pigs and Iron Man still make you turn up the volume and rock as if there were no tomorrow.
If you dont own this album, even if you have the best of, its still worth getting for the other tracks like Rat Salad and the truly brilliant Hand of Doom.
Buy it now if you think your hard enough!
