This is, without exception, the best album I have ever heard. The classic Ozrics line-up of Ed, Zia, John, Joie and Merv perform some of their greatest tunes - O-I, Erpland, Sunscape, White Rhino Tea... As always, the music of Ozric Tentacles transports the listener to another world. Tracks such as Dots Thots make delicious driving music, whilst Snakepit serves as the perfect chill-out track. For anyone new to Ozric Tentacles, 'Live Underslunky' is an ideal introduction to what the band about - playing simply awesome ambient rock instrumentals.
Highly recommended.

The Ozric Tentacles were really a bands of the moment, one of the best Psychedelic rock bands of their time they were both progressive yet traditional in their style. Few bands around the same time made it as big as the Ozrics who were probably one of the biggest Psychedelic names of the late eighties and early nineties. They began around the Festival circuits and remained one of the most animated live acts of their genre. Leaving behind them the classic Rock bands like Hawkwind the Ozrics blended with a new generation of Chilled out hippies who were more than happy to sit back and let the ambient sounds wash over them. Don't get me wrong, this is no music to sleep to, this varied music just shows what a multi- talented bunch they were. When the tune Kick muck gets into full swing you will soon realise how they transformed themselves into the Techno trance outfit of Eat Static with a great display of hectic dance mixed with ambient samples. Live Underslunky is probably the Ozric Tentacles at their best, treating us to a combination of great ambient music, psychedelic roots, Rock riffs and raw live sound his album is a classic of its day which should not be forgotten about. If you like Astralasia or Eat Static - you must take a listen to see where those tunes were born.
