5.0 out of 5 stars INTRICATE ENGAGING TECHNO., 1 Dec 2004
By A Customer
Jake Mandell's produces intricate, clever, very engaging techno. I have to say I found this album pretty challenging on first listen, but have found it has really grown on me with every listen. Wonderful depth of sound and detailing that only shines through when given your complete attention. I think his production of music of this level of complexity places Mandell alongside Marumari, Boards of Canada, and Autechre as a leading light in thought-provoking electronic music. This stuff is wonderful with headphones on. If your a fan of either Planet Mu or Warp, your gunna like this for sure!

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent album, 26 Feb 2001
By A Customer
If you like Plaid,Autechre, Boards of Canada etc, generally good complex electronica, then this album is worth a listen. Listening to it for the first time, I wasnt that impressed! but it has grown on me now to such an extent, it hasnt left my CD player- melodic, complex and a bit trancey. Well worth the money.
