Directed by Tobe Hooper ('The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1 and 2') I found this film to be quite entertaining. There was a time when this was banned but now it is released uncut, and very cheap!

The cast is made up of plenty of horror movie veterans, including Robert 'Freddy Krueger' England, Marilyn Chambers of the above mentioned 'Chain Saw' film and Janus Blythe from 'The Hills Have Eyes'.

The film mainly takes place at a small motel in the middle of nowhere, where the motel owner doesn't seem to like any of his guests! He kills them and feeds them to his pet Alligator who lives in the lake by his property!

If you're a fan of violent gory horror movies you should give this film a try, I'm glad I did, I was pleasantly surprised.

This film opens in the brothel of a small town, one of the girls quits and goes off to the local motel. Soon after she gets pitchforked to death, it looks promising from here ! Sadly it isn't ! The extremly bad plastic crodile thing is appauling ! If you wnt to see Tobe Hooper at his best watch Texas Chainsaw, it has a story. This has little story except a derranged motel owner goes mad one night and kills lots of people, nothing new there ! Why this was banned for so many years is a mystery !
