This film was outstanding.
I first saw it about five years ago and I remember well.
Even noe the film still has an effect on me.
It tells the story of a mother trying to save her children from the horrible experiences of living in a black ghetto.
Her bravery and courages attitude towards the protection of her family prevails throughout the film and creates a great film for snuggling up to on a Sunday night.

I HAVE SEEN THIS VIDEO MORE THAN 20 TIMES. I LOVE THE MOVIE , MORAL , AND EVERYONE IN IT. I MAY BE A LITTLE BIAS BECAUSE I LOVE ONE OF THE CO-STARS, WE USED TO BE BEST FRIENDS. I SAY USED TO BE CUZ, MARK LANE WHO PLAYS THE BRAVE LAFAYETTE, WAS GUN DOWNED AND MURDERED NOV. 2001. HE WAS BRAVE AND AMBITIOUS INTHIS MOVIE AND DETERMINED TO MAKE IT, MUCH LIKE HIS REAL LIFE CAHARACTER, I'M WATCHING THE MOVIE RIGHT NOW ON OXYGEN, BUT I HAVE A VIDEO OF MY OWN AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO CHECK THIS VIDEO OUT. IHAVE A HARD TIME WATCHING WITHOUT CRYING AT MOMENTS BECAUSE LAFEYEETES CHARACTER IS SO SIMILAR TO THE WAY MARK USED TO BE WHEN WE WERE THAT AGE, AND I MISS HIM SO VERY MUCH AND NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO SAY GOOD BYE, THIS MOVIE GIVES ME A LIFETIME SLIDSHOW OF MY DEAR FRIEND, A MUST-SEE!!!!!
