5.0 out of 5 stars exquisite piano playing, 4 Jan 2008
Really good selection of Schumann's piano music, featuring all 21 carnaval scenes, each beautiful played and mood exquisitely captured. There is a delicacy in the playing seldom found in todays musician all after the big effect, and for this reason Myra Hess'es playing brings to mind musical spirit of Schumann's time. Just this is worth getting the Cd and then there is the concerto in A minor and vogel als pophet.
