Product Description
Amazon.co.uk Review
After a barely playable first outing for Game Boy Color, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 will satisfy fans of the console versions much more than the original. Almost every aspect of the game has been improved, from a new camera angle to easier controls and better graphics.

For those looking for an exact copy of the PlayStation version, keep looking. Tony Hawk 2 for GBC is 2-D, with pseudo 3-D levels added in for variety. Unlike the first GBC game, THPS 2 includes level objectives, like collecting the letters S, K, A, T, and E, as well as grinding a set number of objects per level. This adds tremendous replay value for mobile gamers.

Our only gripe was with the control on the "3-D" levels. Precise movements are almost impossible, causing a bit of frustration, but we can live with it, simply because players won't find much better for their portable system. --Robb Guido

5.0 out of 5 stars Tony hawks 2 blasting towords playstation, 11 Nov 2000
Tony Hawks was always going 2 be a populer game but the makers have outdone them selves with the ace of skating by thier sides.Tony Hawks 2 with the new optoins e.g:create a skater is about 5 times better than no 1 , even with new tricks (and we thought it couldent be done) its even easier 2 ride and theres a bigger choice of sk8ers so order this and sk8e away dudes. i've always been a fan of sk8ing but i'm limited to tricks (bieng only 12) but this takes games 2 a new state of realism there r no drags at all 2 the gameplay and the lifespan will have you on edge for weeks so here r its scores. graphics: the ace of sk8ting looks so realistic u just wanna reach out and nick his shoes .8/10 gameplay: the graphics make it even easier 2 move and sk8e around 9/10 lifespan: it will have u on edge for weeks 9/10 so all in all 5 stars *****!!!!

The moment I ripped open the box I had my douts that this 8 bit game could stand up against its 32 bit daddy.Well the graphics are lush and level designs mean you can oille for days and not get bored, the problem is when you've seen it all there isnt a whole lot to come back to ,but what damn fun it was!!!.
