The long grafted, but more popular than ever growl of this impeccable East End comedian, delivers a routine of such comic brilliance that his rejection of political correctness and modern off the wall techniques, adds a bold, effective power to Mike Reid's humour. In the intimate environment of a pub-style night club, Mike effortlessly breezes through his extraordinary repertoire of urban myths, pithy observations of life, and a thousand classic jokes and one liners. Not everyone's going to like him, but if you're craving something that fights back against some of the more self-defeating politically correct humour of these days, then you could go a lot further wrong than buying this. Highly recommended if you're having a bad day with the world, and you want to have a long, hard, carefree laugh.
