There's beautiful ballads of forgiveness ("Just Between You and Me"), riveting rockers of conviction ("Jesus Freak") and the quiet, stark realities of being role models ("What if I Stumble"). New cuts "Say the Words (Now)" and "Chance" play up the sweet melodies these guys know so well. Older fans will enjoy the inclusion of "Luv Is a Verb" and "Socially Acceptable". DC Talk have established themselves over the 90's as a credible christian rock band for mainstream audiences. Christians are the target audience - but there's something here for everybody. Especially for people who want to hear songs where the lyrics actually have a constructive purpose! JESUS FREAK is the classic: reminiscent of Nirvana's SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT, but also, such songs as COLORED PEOPLE, SUPERNATURAL and LUV IS A VERB will appeal to rock audiences. It's a shame the classic RED LETTERS isn't part of GREATEST HITS but buy their 'Supernatural' album if you want to hear that. The singing is satisfying and original for first-timers - the atmosphere in their songs are uplifting and rewarding. It's an album without cliched sentiment or patronising religiousness - its a great, great album with a christian twist accessible for any rock admirers.

I recieved Intermission from my priest as my first DC Talk CD. After listening to it a few times i started to love the music and was hooked on DC Talk. This is a really great CD if you dont want to buy the others but they're missing out a lot of great songs like Since I met you, So Long my Friend and Like it, Love it, Need it. i would buy this if you dont want to spend too much money on their CDs but if you're a true fan, id suggest you buy all the other ones. Hope you like it :)

Man, these guys just nail it everytime. Usually I can't listen to the whole CD of an artist in one shot, but with DC Talk....easy!! Add it to your Must Buy list and you won't be disappointed
