5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, very different, and worth every penny, 3 Jun 2001
By A Customer
I have had the pleasure of seeing this band play live on a few occasions and they are fantastic. The group play a mixture of traditional jewish music, mixed in with Salsa,Israeli and Arabic music. Sounds odd, but I can tell you every arrangement is beautifully crafted and played to perfection. With electric Bass, keyboards, guitar and percussion, it has a very modern sound, but this does not take anything away from the traditional folk songs that Stewart has arranged. Stewart and the band fully respect everything that they play. Stewart is a great Sax, Clarinet,Flute and Piccolo player and he's also a lovely guy. Buy the album you won't regret it.
