i just purchased the cd from amazon... and i gotta say the soundtrack isnt bad. i thought the film was brilliant and i have to say.. the soundtrack comes no where near the film. if u havent heard of godhead, then u need to.. the 1st track is probably the best.

some people would also be a bit dissapointed dissposable teens isnt on this as it is virtually the opening track of the film. though, if you're a manson fan neway.. holywood is a great buy.

overall first impressions leaves me wanting to listen to it again and again. nice mixture of new and old bands.

This is a really cool album as far as soundtracks go. The are a lot of artists on the album that I didn't recognise, but I'm really glad I made the effort to find this album.

The opening track 'The Reckoning' by Godhead will appeal to NIN fans everywhere and anyone else who appreciates ehat kind of electronic metal. Then an absolute scorcher from P.O.D. makes you sit up and take notice, from then on in it's a rollercoaster ride of different styles.

The real stand-out tracks are Marilyn Manson's re-working of 'Suicide is painless', 'Stick it up' by Slaves On Dope and the fantastic 'Arc Arsenal' by At The Drive-In.

But, without a doubt, the best track is the final track, 'Feel Good Hit Of The Summer' by Queens Of The Stone Age - you'll find yourself singing it over and over, much to the annoyance of all your friends.

So, no matter what you though of the film, this is a good metal compilation and worthy of addition to anyone's collection.

Even if your not a fan of the film, or have never seen the film, this CD is a purchase you won't regret.

If you like your music hard and tense, this is for you. With Marilyn Manson's name on the track listings, you know what to expect. However Elastic are also on this and too provide a great song. One of the best songs in my mind is the title track, The reckoning by Godhead.

Like the film or not, you'll like the soundtrack if your into heavy music.
