Love inc - Huge selection of dance hits!, 24 April 2003
"Love inc" here they are! If you liked the infamous "Your a superstar", then this album is certainly for you. If you didn't like "Your a superstar" then I wouldn't really recommend it as unlike most albums, this as the first song that they brought out, certainly demonstrates that this is what you are to expect throughout the album. Song one called "Broken Bones" is an excellent funky, beat dropping, fast mix of 21st century sounds, ranging from electric keyboard notes to a few beats that sound like trance. The singer as usual is on top form as her voice fits in well with the song. Okay so the lyrics I’ve got "broken bones" may be a bit cheesy, but once past this, you’ll be addicted and it will stay in your head for a while. Track two is "Your a superstar". Another addictive tune, which you'll either love or hate. It had huge play coverage over the UK and seemed to appeal to every type of nightclub, from dance to trance to house. This is why this album cannot really be categorised as it can appeal to a wide audience. Track three "homeless" enables "Love Inc" to show their sensitive side, as it is a lot slower and calmer compared to the rest of the other songs. Its nice if you just want to sit and chill to a song. Track four is also slower and less demanding on the ears as again you can sit and simply listen to it. It's called "Everything’s Gonna be alright". Tracks five to seven: "In a galaxy, Be who you want to be" and "Who do you love" are again more like "Love Inc". Hard hitting, punchier beats and these are favourite my tracks. They have an underground feel, exciting and intense beats. The words once again can be cheesy, but these songs get me up and dancing. Track 8 "I've got a feeling" is very urban and underground. It’s okay, but nothing special. Track 9 is called "c'est fantastique". In my view this is certainly not what it is. No lyrics, just hard beats that seem to drag on for a long time. Not one of my favourite tracks I have to say. Tracks 11 - 14 are remixes, from "Your a superstar" to "Broken Bones" which I certainly enjoy. Each track has an edgy, get up and dance feel that you can't resist. Remixes aren't always that brilliant, but these are good because they are very dancey. Overall this album is good, but certainly not brilliant. I wasn't sure what to expect, but its an album that I'll certainly put on when im getting ready to go out. Im glad I've bought it though.
