5.0 out of 5 stars It's November To Remember, so it must be a Six Man Tag!, 25 Sep 2000
By A Customer
November 1999 saw ECW come to Buffalo, New York in order to settle some scores in ECW's version of Wrestlemania! And on DVD, you get to see all the carnage and more with a few good extra options!

In the main event, we witnessed the return to ECW of The Sandman! He tagged with the ECW Tag Team Champions, Raven and Tommy Dreamer, as they took on The Impact Players and Rhino in a match that held some fear that it might have been shorter than The Sandman's ring entrance!

This was the final ECW PPV appearance of Taz before he joined the WWF, and at N2R, he had a shot at Rob Van Dam's TV Title! Mr PPV returned to the very arena where he had won the strap over 18 months previously without having ever lost the belt since, could The Whole F'n Show pack the Human Suplex Machine off for good?

Mike Awesome put his World Title on the line against his fiercest rival, Masato Tanaka, in what I feel is their best match ever, and I've watched all three of their ECW PPV matches. I've yet to see the two ECW on TNN matches where they exchanged the belts between each other (they both came after this PPV), but would it be the Master of The Roaring Elbow or the true Master of the Powerbomb who would take the title into those free-to-air encounters?

This DVD also contains a great match between Sabu and Chris Candido, and an awesome Three Way Dance between Super Crazy, Yoshihiro Tajiri and Jerry Lynn, plus other short, but exciting matches. All in all this was a NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER!

5.0 out of 5 stars A NOVEMBER 2 REMEMBER!!!!!, 13 Sep 2002

ECW-NOVEMBER 2 REMEMBER 99----7th November 1999----Buffalo,NY

1)Spike Dudley VS Simon Diamond.
(Decent little match but too short.Simon does a funny promo before this match).

2)Nova VS Little Guido.
(Again quite good but too short.I didn't like the way this match ended but Nova does some innovative stuff here).

3)3 WAY DANCE-Super Crazy VS Jerry Lynn VS Yoshihiro Tajiri.
(This match is excellent.Lots of great moves and high flying action in this one. This is the same match included on Path Of Destruction).

4)3 VS 4 HANDICAP MATCH-New Jack,Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney VS
The Baldies--Angel,DeVito,PN News & Skull.
(Not much wrestling here but plenty of blood and weapons. Also a
great dive by New Jack).

5)Sabu VS Chris Candido.
(This was a good match with some great moves.Seemed just a bit too long but theres a good table finish).

6)ECW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP-Mike Awesome(c) VS Masato Tanaka.
(This is a brutal 5 star match all the way.Highlights of the match include a viscous powerbomb off the apron through a table,
a powerbomb off the top rope,a superplex through a table and
all 3 of Tanaka's finishers(Roaring Elbow,Tornado DDT onto 2 chairs and the Diamond Dust).

7)ECW TV TITLE-Rob Van Dam(c) VS Taz.
(This was another great match.Despite what people say this was actually Taz's last match not Anarchy Rulz 99.Highlights include
a split legged moonsault,a cradle Taz-plex through a table and
a brutal Taz-plex that dumps RVD on the back of his head.RVD also
does his rolling thunder and cartwheel moonsault moves.4 stars).

8)6 MAN TAG MAIN EVENT-
Sandman,Tommy Dreamer & Raven VS Rhino,Lance Storm & Justin Credible.
(This is pretty good but too short for a main event. This was Sandman's ECW return from WCW and the failed Hak gimmick.Good
spot with Raven going through a table and Raven backdropping
Justin nearly on his head. Also a controversial ending here.3 1/2
stars).

This is well worth the money.Match of the night is definitely

Tanaka/Awesome but the RVD/Taz,Tajiri/Lynn/Crazy and 6 man tag main event are also great. Not really any bad matches but I think it would have worked out better with Tanaka/Awesome as the main event.I'd say this was one of ECWs best shows of 99.
