Not to be confused with the later single "The Cedar Room", the Cedar EP was actually the first ever release from Doves, back in 1998.

The main song "The Cedar Room" is the same as that which was re-released in 2000, but the B-Sides here are different.

The track of course if simply beautiful - if you already own the debut album "Lost Souls" then you know that already. An epic piece of raw song-writing which deserved more attention than it received at the time.

The Cedar EP release was a limited edition of 1000 only, so it is now already collectable and very hard to track down, but if you are a fan of doves, then this vinyl only release is an essential item to obtain - whatever it takes.

"Highly Recommended" and "5 stars" would be an under-statement.
