This series of The Newstatesman carries on with more political satire and sharp witted humour that the other series were famous for. Rik Mayall plays Alan B'Stard brilliantly and his one liners are crafted so well you don't even see them coming. His co-hort Piers Fletcher Dervish remains the butt of Alans many cruel pranks and jokes that are so damn funny you wish you had though of them yourself. If you have the other series of the New Statesman then start clicking away and buy this one too...i guarantee you won't regret it! Essential Rik Mayall!
