I bought the Talk to Me Spanish edition as I am spending a lot of time in Spain this year and have little knowledge of the language.

What I was hoping for was a basic guide to elementary conversational Spanish that would ease my time spent in the country.

What I got instead were lessons which taught me how to ask 'do you think I am beautiful'!! No where in this package were the basic lessons that I had hoped for, such things as 'can I have the bill' or 'where are the loos'

I ended up buying a phrase book from the airport which I have to admit was worth its wait in gold ...

Spend your money on sangria instead.
