5.0 out of 5 stars All around the world, you've gotta spread the word..., 4 Mar 2004
By Robbie Swale - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
All Around The World comes from the much-maligned Be Here Now album; it is epic in proportions (over nine minutes long) and gets the usual crowd-anthem treatment (strings and all) that has become familiar to Oasis fans over the years. It is probably true that All Around The World could do with being about 4 minutes shorter, but that shouldn't take away from the fact that it is a great song. When the bridge swings in, shivers might end up running down one's spine, and as this single comes from the days before the length restrictions were brought in, you really get what you pay for. For your £4, you get over 20 minutes of Oasis, with the usual high-quality B-sides.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerfully inspiring masterpiece, 21 Sep 2000
By graham_1976@yahoo.co.uk (Chicagoland, USA) - See all my reviews
The most ludicrously overproduced single of the 90s is also one of the best. In the hands of anyone but the brothers Gallagher it would have been turned to treacly schlock, but All Around the World is triumphant, glorious, and powerful. The B-sides - none of which appear on The Masterplan - are also excellent, especially the soaring The Fame. The cover of Street Fighting Man is also a highlight.

5.0 out of 5 stars The very first Oasis song I heard, 17 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This was the First Oasis song I ever heard in 1998 and it was actually this song which brought my attention strongly towards Oasis. I soon started to search for the Be Here Now Album which contained this song. I mistakely bought Oasis' second Debut Album " (What's the Story) Morning Glory ". When I started listening it, I kept listening the same whole album an average 20 times a day. Soon, bye 2000, I had all the Oasis' Albums. " Definitely Maybe " was the last album I found and I couldn't believe what I had missed or had been missing in all these times. I listen to Oasis day and night. I've listened to Other big bands like U2, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones but Oasis is fully at the Top of these bands. Oasis are actually the Beatles of the 90's and I hope they don't end up like them and continue like the Rolling Stones. They are currently the world's Biggest and Greatest Rock'n'Roll Band and I love them for it. I just hope their upcoming new debut singles and album would be as good as this single and earlier albums. LONG LIVE OASIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
