"Stand By Me" has always been one of my favourite ever Oasis songs. It's a true classic. Liam shines on vocals and Noel displays his class with some excellent riffs and a very catchy chorus. The back-up songs on this single are good to, particularly "Going Nowhere", an acoustic song featuring Noel on vocals.

By now you all know what Stand By Me sounds like.
With respect to the b-sides, I GOT THE FEVER is a great song with Liams vocals on top form. Simple but effective. The Roaring MY SISTER LOVER sees Laim's voice reaching new heights and is a very catchy and rocky song with Noel and Liam singing together on the great chorus "You're my Brotherrrrrrrrrrr!!!"
GOING NOWHERE is a song written by Noel before the band had signed a record deal and although it faulters in places lyrically (rhyming Motor Car with Jaguar - come on Noel!) it is a refreshing Burt Bacharach style song which continues to grow with every listen, despite not being to everyone's taste. A fine Single and great
b-sides.
